The first week of january is most of the times slow when it comes to
flying activity in the Netherlands so we made a plan to visit the UK
which promised to be a good choice to spend some time abroad. Our first
choice was Lakenheath and hope to catch as many F15's as possible but
sadly, not to our knowledge a great deal of Eagles was spared for an
upcoming deployment to the United States for the exercise Red Flag. Nevertheless still some 15 aircraft flew in the afternoon and even
the new inhabitants from 56 RQS flew some local missions. |
