In 2003 Kleine Brogel
airbase organized its famous CAMAO exercise again and also gave us an
oppertunity to come and have look on base. Unfortunately the weathergods
weren't in our favour with grey and dull weather all day. The line-up
wasen't as spectacular as the previous edition and the italian
Starfighter had broken down before it could arrive but again the
organisation had made a great effort to bring us a great variety in
aircraft.
During the morning the local squadrons flew their missions and also the QRA went out for a practice-scramble. Around noon the aircraft participating in the combined exercise began to start up their engines and get ready for taxi towards the holdingpoint for take-off. Sadly the Mirage IV didn't fly but most aircraft that were present did which gave us plenty of good oppertunities to make nice photographs.
