During our trip in the UK we visited the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight based at Coningsby Airforcebase and also the memorial which has been erected near Dover for all the airmen lost during the campaign. Our tourguide inside the BBMF hangar was a WWII veteran himself who had flown on the mighty Lancaster as a bomber. Almost all aircaft were present during our visit accept for the Lancaster who was being refurbished somewhere in the south of England.
